In Mid-Century Modern Rehab Bliss

I am in awe of mid-century modern renovations.  There is a plethora of 1970s contemporary style homes in the county I live in, especially here in East Cobb.  The house we bought last year is the same style of home.  As I walk my neighborhood, I continue to be in awe of the custom architecture.  I have also shown buyers many of these types of properties.  Most of the ones I showed were outdated with green carpet, old kitchens with musty smells, rotted cedar siding, and creepy basements.  It is difficult to visualize it being anything else when you stand in it.  I have also seen a handful of investors flip these properties from light renovations to a complete rehab.  The home I want to feature today is 2437 Kingsley Drive in Marietta.

2437 Kinsley Drive is an exclusive listing of Lisa and David Simpson of iHeart Atlanta Realty Keller Williams Realty Signature Partners.

This seller went all out and made this feel warm, cozy, and brand new.  I love the vaulted ceilings, wood accent wall, the back deck, new flooring, natural light, granite counters, fenced-in backyard, natural wood beams, the contemporary window shapes (especially the diamond shaped windows in the back of the home), and the clean, fully renovated bathrooms.

I look at 2437 Kingsley Drive as a work of art.  I sincerely appreciate the investors who choose this style of homes in our community to preserve!  If you are ever in Marietta, I would love to show you this home!
